About this app

The Informed Delivery® Mobile application allows you to start your mornings with a preview of your day’s USPS mail and packages. This free app lets you see photos of your mail before it arrives and receive USPS tracking updates.

You can use the app to:

• Create your account or sign-in with an existing account.
• Get daily digest notifications to preview your mail and packages scheduled to arrive soon.
• See grayscale images of your mail before it arrives*. Images are of the exterior, address side only of letter sized mail.
• Interact with mailer-provided digital content associated with your mail (e.g. - special offers, related links).
• Scan eligible tracking numbers or label barcodes to track the status of your inbound or outbound USPS packages.
• Get delivery status updates directly to your smartphone.

*Images are only provided for letter-sized mailpieces that are processed through USPS’s automated equipment. Mail and packages may not arrive the same day you get a notification – please allow several days for delivery.

This new app is great, but forcing me to sign in every single time I open it is just a little bit irritating. So I'm finding myself not using it as much as I would like because I have to put in my email and my password every single time I open it or tap on a notification. I never use biometrics, so that is not an option to make it easier to sign in. I just don't understand why the app doesn't keep you signed in. If it's that much of a security issue, how about a PIN?

I already get email notifications about informed delivery of mail. this app doesn't do any more than that, so it is a waste of app space. please add the other options, such as scheduling mail holds, that are on the web site. Nevermind. USPS has more than one app. I deleted this, the most basic, and downloaded the other, which does have more features, including scheduling mail holds. Why they would need both apps is beyond me.

I enjoy most of the online experience with Informed delivery. However, there needs to be an easy to find phone option to submit delivery issues without being forced to deal with your AI. It is extremely frustrating to report specific delivery problems since the AI only gives you limited choices to describe your issue. If it is not one of the choices offered it is virtually impossible to speak to a live agent! It took me 3 days of repeated calls last week before I finally talked with an Agent.
