Works well when it lets you log in, which is only 10% of the time. Other 90% is either being told your login info is wrong (it's not) or it just hangs in the Signing in screen. I had to delete/reinstall the app AND reset my password just to get it to let me back in, even though my PW never changed... Update 2023... Just as terrible. It can easily tell when the car is in use or not but starting it remotely, even standing right beside it, is next to an impossible task for Volvo. Update 2025: same.

The app is partially functional. The main reason I want to use it is to turn the climate control on from afar. It's been roughly the temperature of the sun lately, and it would be nice to come out to something comfortable. Naturally, the climate function never works. The unlock function works occasionally, but usually I have to be on my home Wi-Fi for it to work. Also, for some reason, Google phones STILL don't work properly in regards to the proximity function that works just fine on iPhone.

Old version better. I dislike the new design of the app. Everything is comically large but also somehow not intuitive. The cute features like showing which angle you see your car is gone. The top view also shows a different model than what I have. The new trip monitor shows energy used but not generated. The gas percentage is also gone. Please add features instead of removing them with future updates. It would be nice to see charge speed in the T8 cars.
