My Time by NETGEAR

My Time by NETGEAR is the kids' companion app for Smart Parental Controls that provides your kids with a personalized dashboard to see how much time they have left online. Once installed, My Time lets you manage your kids’ mobile devices, track their current location, and see how they spend time online wherever they go.
My Time eliminates the need for spontaneous bribes or device confiscation and gives more control to your kids by letting them better understand your established internet rules.

NOTES
NETGEAR My Time uses Android’s VpnService to create a local, on-device VPN interface on a child’s device. This allows My Time to evaluate web traffic on the device and enforce the internet time limits and access rules configured by the parent, including when the child uses cellular data or WiFi networks outside the home.

All VPN processing for this feature occurs locally on the child’s device. VpnService does not connect to or route the child’s internet traffic through an external VPN server. It is used only to provide parental-control and usage-management features. My Time is not a general-purpose VPN and does not use VpnService to change the device’s location or redirect advertising traffic.
